Raiders-

Dear Raider Families,

It is hard to believe that the first nine weeks of the school year are almost complete! As we reach this important point in the semester, we encourage families to take some time to check your student’s grades, attendance, and overall progress in PowerSchool. This is a great opportunity to celebrate the successes your student has already had while also identifying any areas that may need some extra attention. Work with your student to develop a plan for finishing the semester strong. There is still plenty of time to make a difference!

We also want to remind families that Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held on October 19 and 20. Both evenings will be conducted in an open house format, giving families the opportunity to connect with teachers, ask questions, and talk about how we can best support your student. We look forward to seeing many of you during conferences!

In addition, we want to take a moment to congratulate all of our fall athletes, clubs, band, and color guard members on the tremendous success they have already experienced this season. Our students continue to represent Northridge High School with pride through their hard work, dedication, leadership, and school spirit. We are proud of the way our Raiders continue to support one another and make NHS a great place to be!

Finally, Fall Break is just around the corner! There will be no school October 22–26. We hope our students, staff, and families enjoy a well-deserved break and come back ready for the second half of the semester.
Thank you for your continued support of Northridge High School and our students. We are proud to be Raiders!

Education Pathways

Our Education Pathways classes have partnered with York Elementary to provide both Junior Achievement programming to 3rd grade students and mentoring to 1st grade students. NHS students from freshmen through seniors are participating in these programs. JA focuses on building financial, economic, and career literacy, while the mentoring program focuses on modeling social skills and conflict resolution. We're so excited to be partnering with YES and thankful for their staff and administration who have made this possible!
